Every trip with Habitat for Children Ministries looks different, however we can assure you that any trip you take with us will leave a lasting impact on both yourself and the community that you serve in. As of now, we currently offer multiple trips each year typically with different focuses based on the currents needs of the ministry and the community we serve, such as our back-to-school trips and our construction-heavy trips. We do our best to ensure that every team that joins us in Haiti has an experience that mixes work, play, and rest to ensure your trip is both enjoyable and fulfilling.
Missionary Flights International flies out of Fort Pierce, FL typically around 6:30am EST and will arrive in Haiti around 11:30am. We fly directly into the airport in Pignon, which is under 10 away from our mission house.
Each week with us will contain multiple opportunities to serve the community in different ways, but also chances to explore the beauty of Haiti and learn more about the country.
HFCM guests will stay at our mission house located in Pignon, which houses 10 comfortably. Every meal is provided with each traveler's needs in mind. There will be time each evening to kick back and rest at your home away from home.
The mission house is equipped with security measures such as camera surveillance, gated doors and windows, a security guard, and a ten foot tall concrete wall surrounding the property to ensure that your safety during your stay.
On Sunday you will have an opportunity to attend church either in Pignon or in a nearby city called Hinche. Make sure to pack dress clothes: a button-down and slacks for men and a dress for the ladies.
