Habitat for Children Ministries is an organization that works for indigent and helpless children and families in need.  Our mission is to help build the minds of young people and to assist families to become stable in their communities. With the expense of uniforms, registration fees, and tuition, ninety-five percent of Haiti’s children and families struggle to afford the opportunity to go to school every year and many Haitian children are dying because they cannot get adequate medical attention or nutrition. 

HFCM has made a commitment to help provide an affordable education which includes recreational activities, so the crime rate and juvenile delinquency levels can be tremendously reduced. After the January 12, 2010 earthquake, the demand for resources has greatly increased. Through the help of the Holy Spirit, we can build strong children, strong families, and even stronger communities. Our desire is to be the teacher of teachers and to empower a new generation of children, so that they can achieve lifelong success. 

What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Habitat for Children Ministries is a non-profit Christian organization that seeks to meet the physical and spiritual needs of children and their families by providing food, clothes, shelter, education, school supplies, and medical supplies, while sharing the Message of the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Habitat for Children Ministries is growing tomorrow’s children by serving as the bridge to their success. We are dedicated to reducing hunger and delinquency, and committed to building strong communities so that our children are safe, healthy, prepared and inspired to meet the challenges ahead.                                                                          

1. Provide children with spiritual enrichment by teaching them the Word of God through Bible Study classes and VBS camps. 
2. Provide quality education through teacher enrichment, tuition assistance, necessary school supplies and teaching materials. 
3. Enable possibilities to have good health through hot meals and acute medical assistance.

We hope to create fun and invigorating environments that reinforce learning and improve education.  Our priority is to make sure that the welfare and long term development of our youth is positively impacted by good leaders and good health choices.

Habitat for Children Ministries is a non-profit organization as recognized by the Internal Revenue Service. As such, we rely heavily on donations to help us with the work we are doing.
