Message From The President

Our children are counting on us to not only be their voice, but to ensure that each and every one of them has a fair start in life and that each and every one of them has an opportunity to be heard and to assume their rightful role in humanity.

We want to make that happen, and we are confident that we can. Habitat For Children Ministries is already making a difference through our programs and activities, which include school readiness, early child education, quality child care, and family support. But there are so many more things we can do, and so many more children we can serve. Please understand that we are never at a loss for those in need.

A decade ago, I founded Habitat For Children Ministries because I was concerned about how easy it was for our children’s future to be diminished due to a lack of brain development. Research shows how vital the first five years of child's life are and how much those years play a role in establishing intellectual, emotional and psychological well-being. 

If a child is not nurtured, that child faces a bleak future. But when we invest in our children, we deny expensive social dysfunction an opportunity to exist and destroy those precious little minds. When we invest in our children, we help their minds to blossom and bear fruit for generations to come.
