Caring For the Elderly

In January 2017, Habitat For Children Ministries started a new ministry of Caring for the Elderly. Our Haiti Director/President, Robinn Paul began visiting 10 elderly citizens in the La Jeune, Bohoc and Coupeal areas of Haiti on a weekly basis. The beautiful souls are provided companionship and a small supplemental meal. Staff also sit with them and take time to talk and pray with them. This visit not only helps to brighten their day, but it lets them know that people still love and care about their well-being. We are looking to stay with these beautiful senior citizens until their last day, when we will also assist with their final arrangements. We will only continue to build this ministry with more charitable donations.
